Margaret Curtis wins the U.S. Women’s Amateur Golf Championship in Illinois.

(June) Margaret beats hers sister, Harriot, by a score of 7-6 in the final match at Midlothian Country Club to win the first of her three championships. She also wins at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey, in 1911 at Essex Country Club in 1912.
